What Is Nutritional Counseling

Nutritional counseling is a type of assessment that analyzes various health needs with regard to diet. Such an assessment is beneficial to a wide variety of people and can help those with numerous disorders. As your nutritional counselor, Dr. Miller will help you set achievable health goals and teach you various ways of maintaining these goals throughout your lifetime. Nutrition and supplementation targeting specific issues are customized for each patient. Without proper nutrition, one does not have enough energy to make it through the day. Also, your health can decline to make you more susceptible to illness and disease. Imbalances due to faulty nutritional patterns, improper rest, lack of exercise, stress, and other lifestyle considerations over time can result in a weakening of the body.
